This Maine artist, made an original clam, then a plaster mold was made from the original. Clay is then pressed into this mold. Edges are cut and smoothed, texture lines added, and the hinge part on the interior is sculpted. These hav been glazed with  interior colors of pink, coral, blue, or white.  If interested in purchase, photos will be sent of available “Clams” for you to select.  These sculptures are 6 inch wide by 4 inch Height by 1 inch depth.
