This Maine artist, made an original clay clam, then a plaster mold was made from the original. Clay is then pressed into this mold. Edges are cut and smoothed, texture lines added, and the hinge part on the interior is sculpted. These have been glazed with  interior colors of pink, coral, blue, or off white.  If interested in purchase, photos will be sent of available “Clams” for you to select.  These sculptures are 6 inch wide by 4 inch Height by 1 inch depth. They can hang on a wall or rest flat.
